Warehouse Pay: $14-$15

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Cut Flower Warehouse Shift Lead to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within our flower warehouse. As a Shift Lead, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, including unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and preparing orders for delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn the Business: Gain a comprehensive understanding of our flower warehousing operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping procedures.
• Unload Shipments: Receive and unload flower shipments on Sundays, ensuring that all items are handled carefully to maintain quality.
• Inventory Management: Organize and store inventory in the cooler, ensuring that flowers are kept in optimal conditions.
• Order Preparation: Breakdown and organize inventory for upcoming deliveries, ensuring that all items are accurately prepared and ready for dispatch.
• Loading and Delivery: Load boxes and buckets of flowers into delivery trucks, ensuring that orders are prepared for timely and accurate delivery.
• Flower Cutting: Perform flower cutting tasks as needed to fulfill orders and maintain inventory levels.
• Team Leadership: Oversee and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff during your shift, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to company standards.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift and move boxes and buckets of flowers.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends.

Additional Information:

• No software knowledge is required at this time.

Hours:

• Monday thru Thursday 10am- 7pm
• Saturdays as needed during peak season and would like the hours, will not be required
• Sundays -depends on deliveries, 4 hrs
